Two dentists' names appear on this page, and one of them is the dentist you'll actually see: Dr. Brian Podbesek has led care on Medical Park Drive since 2014, and every new-patient booking goes to him. That's the point of a small, settled office — the same dentist every visit, which is how a five-year pattern in your gum line gets noticed and a small chip stays a one-visit fix instead of becoming a crown.

The doctors
Dr. Brian Podbesek, DDS — Lead Dentist. He practices the full range of general, family, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, including full-arch implant reconstruction, and he is accepting new patients. His page tells the fuller story.
Dr. James W. Willis, DDS — Founder and Cosmetic Dentist. A graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, he began treating patients in this office in 2009 and launched Willis & Associates Family Dentistry from it in 2012. His clinical work today is limited to selected cosmetic cases — porcelain veneers, cosmetic crown work, smile design, Invisalign — each of which begins with a consult with Dr. Podbesek. New patients cannot book with him directly.
The clinical team and the front desk
We don't list support staff by name on the website — people deserve to decide where their names appear online — but you'll learn them quickly in person, because the team is long-tenured and continuity is policy here. The hygienist who measures your gums this spring aims to be the one who measures them next spring.
The front desk handles the unglamorous parts well: insurance verification before your visit, records transfer from your previous office, and scheduling that respects the fact that you have a job to get back to.

- Which dentist will I see?
- Dr. Podbesek — he leads day-to-day care and sees new patients. Dr. Willis handles select cosmetic cases only, arranged through Dr. Podbesek after a consult.
- Can I book directly with Dr. Willis?
- No — he's not accepting new patients. Start with Dr. Podbesek; if your case fits Dr. Willis's cosmetic focus, the referral happens from there.
- Do I get the same hygienist every time?
- We aim for exactly that, because continuity makes for better dentistry. Once you've found a hygienist you click with, let the front desk know and appointments get built around the pairing.
