In brief: very little gets collected by this site, HIPAA governs your health records at the practice itself, and no information about you is ever sold. Everything below expands on that, in plain English.
What this website collects
Like most websites, this one keeps routine server logs — IP address, browser type, pages viewed — plus basic analytics that help with security and show us how visitors use the site. Anything you share when calling, booking, or requesting an appointment goes toward contacting you and arranging your care, and nothing beyond that.
Your personal information is never sold by this site. Note that outside links — online booking, patient registration, Google reviews, maps — take you to services with privacy policies of their own.
Your health information
Your dental records qualify as protected health information under HIPAA. The practice's complete Notice of Privacy Practices — how records get used, your rights to see and correct them, where to raise a concern — is handed out at registration and always available from the front desk. Charts, imaging, and treatment histories live in a HIPAA-compliant practice management system, and releasing them requires your written authorization.
