Every case at our Fishersville office opens with an iTero Lumina digital scan — putty impressions are gone — followed by an on-screen simulation of your finished smile before a single aligner exists. Who plans your treatment
Dr. Brian Podbesek plans and supervises Invisalign cases day to day — he's been the lead dentist on Medical Park Drive since 2014 and is accepting new patients. Dr. James Willis, the practice's founder, focuses his remaining chair time on cosmetic work including Invisalign; consultations with him are arranged through Dr. Podbesek for select cases.

- How long does Invisalign take?
- Most adult cases at our Fishersville office finish in 12 to 18 months. Small corrections run shorter; complex bites run longer. Your scan produces a projected timeline for your teeth, not an average.
- How many hours a day do I wear the aligners?
- Twenty to twenty-two hours. They come out to eat and brush; they stay in for the rest, sleep included. Nothing determines an on-schedule finish more than wear time.
- Does Invisalign hurt?
- A fresh set feels snug for the first day or two — you'll notice pressure rather than pain. People who had adolescent braces usually report this is considerably gentler than what they remember.
- What happens if I lose an aligner?

- What does Invisalign cost?
- Comparable to braces, and it depends on how many aligners your bite needs. You get a written plan with costs up front at the consultation — including what your insurance's orthodontic benefit contributes, which we check before you commit.
