Dr. Supneet Wadhwa, DDS recently joined our dental team, and our Chief Marketing Officer Fahim Mohi recently sat down with him for a chair-side chat! Check out the interview and a brief introduction of Dr. Wadhwa below!

Fahim: Thank you so much for taking the time to sit down with me Dr. Wadhwa!
Dr. Wadhwa: Happy to sit down with you Fahim!
Fahim: So doc, what was your biggest inspiration behind choosing dentistry as your career of choice?
Dr. Wadhwa: I actually come from a long line of doctors in my family, so I always knew that I wanted to become a doctor. However, the long nights and otherworldly hours at the hospital did not appeal to me. Dentistry allowed me to follow my passion of helping others while still allowing me to live my life to its fullest.
Fahim: Ah yes that totally makes sense. How many doctors are there in your family?
Dr. Wadhwa: Including my cousins and immediate family, about five.
Fahim: Oh wow! Seems like everyone in your family wanted to go into medicine! Is there anything specific about dentistry itself that stands out to you the most?
Dr. Wadhwa: What amazes me the most about dentistry is that you can get almost instantaneous results off of your procedures, and the effects your work has on someone’s life is extremely significant. I mean I’ve seen people get their dream jobs, fall in love with the man/woman of their dreams, and achieve so much more happiness in life, all by coming into the dentist’s office and getting their teeth taken care of. I love seeing peoples’ self confidence benefit from my work, and it’s one of the many reasons I’m so passionate about practicing dentistry to this day.

Dr. Wadhwa graduated from one of the most distinguished dental schools in India, Christian Dental College, where he completed his 5 years of dental school with 23 gold medals and distinctions. After finishing his 3-year residency in Prosthodontics (crowns, dentures, and implants) in India, he worked as an assistant professor and clinician prior to moving to the United States. Dr. Wadhwa obtained his DDS degree from the Colorado School of Dental Medicine and moved to Roanoke, VA after falling in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Throughout his dental career, Dr. Wadhwa has always been meritorious with many distinctions achieved, such as best dental graduate, best resident, university topper, and author of numerous articles in dental journals. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Wadhwa loves treating his patients with enormous respect and care. His dental experience of more than a decade and expertise in dentures and crowns make him a valuable addition to our group. He also thoroughly enjoys treating kids and ensuring a positive dental experience for them.
When he isn’t busy practicing dentistry, he enjoys traveling, calligraphy, and hiking with his dog Sugar.
