Fabrizio Cena, DDS

Meet Dr. Fabrizio Cena

Dr. Fabrizio Cena was born in a small Italian town named Chivasso, an area rich with history. As Dr. Cena details, “My ancestors were lumberjacks who in 1456, came down from the Alps in the Po Valley, in northern Italy, to help deforest and conquer land to farm. They became a generation of farmers, and it is thanks to their centuries-old work, that the region, which was once barren, transformed into an authentic garden.”

Dr. Cena also notes his time spent living in Spain, as well as London, as being influential exposure to the importance of skilled health care healers. This fueled his desire to become a Dentist, so that he could provide the much needed information as well as relief many patients seek. After seeing the contribution dentistry gives to society, in terms providing services to those in need in order to help improve their lives, he knew he was on the right path.

Dr. Cena graduated from Brigham Young University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Public Health, and again from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, finishing in the top 10% in his graduating class. He recalls the moment after seeing his first patients and how the experience affected them positively, on a personal level. He notes each time a patient comes to him with a complaint about anything mouth related, after treating them, it melts his heart to see the positive impact the outcome can have. He is proud of the understanding and perspective that the career has given him thus far and strives to continue learning so that he may build upon his skills to reach and help more people.

When he isn’t working hard to help his patients, Dr. Cena spends his time at home with his wife, and their 18-month-old daughter Luna, as well as enjoying some of his favorite hobbies including martial arts, playing soccer, exercise, and trying new foods.

“I am very grateful for this profession and the good I have the opportunity to do. I love this profession, more and more each day.”
